OBJECTIVE
 The main goal of the LiveEdu project is to use some of the funds from the ICO to stimulate streamers in creating premium projects. LiveEdu content is concentrated on projects. Each project contains a live streaming channel, a video project, a playlist and a live chat window. Each stream is automatically archived as a video. LiveEdu provides content creators with the ability to deliver their projects via stream or offline recording. There are two main types of projects on LiveEdu — premium-textbook projects and premium-issues projects.

Background

LiveEdu is an existing Y-combinator company that offers a live streaming and video tutorial learning platform where content creators teach how to build real products.
Originally launched in 2015 with a focus on programming, the platform has already shown to be successful

LiveEdu is a next-generation project looking to expand through a blockchain based, decentralized peer-to-peer marketplace education platform. With main target audiences in the advanced to expert ranges, this platform offers a unique solution to an already established market without directly competing with current companies.

Variety of programs

Generally, universities or colleges will have only selected courses. If someone wants to enroll in a different program, they have to choose a different college. But it is possible to enroll in any type of program/course online.

Working professionals

This learning platform will be more beneficial for the working professionals to improve their skills as they don’t have time for a full-time program in a college or university.

Availability of resources

Popular online learning platforms like Coursera provides only the video tutorials of the instructors. But LiveEdu platform provides a dedicated live stream channel for each category (eg. Programming) containing more than 1000 videos in the playlist. If a user is not available for a particular live stream, they can always view the videos offline by downloading it from the platform.

Comfortable environment

The learners can attend the sessions by sitting comfortably on their favorite couch/sofa and wearing casual clothes. Also, they don’t have to commute by train, bus, car or bike for attending the sessions.

Interactive sessions

In classroom-based lectures, some students may feel shy to ask questions or clarify their doubts with the instructors or lecturers. The chat window is very useful for students like them as they don’t need to ask face-to-face questions. Instead, they can simply type their queries using the chat window.

EDU Token



The purpose of tokenization is to create a marketplace economy capable of rewarding content creators and investors while providing incentives to remain with the platform.
The current platform utilizes fiat payment options for subscriptions and will be replaced with the EDU token for all financial transactions to take place within the platform

EDU is an ERC20 token utilizing the Ethereum smart contract protocol

Total supply will be based upon tokens generated during the crowdsale
